NHVR – Network Access and Permits

- PBS-approved combinations
If your vehicle combination is already approved under the Performance Based Standards (PBS) scheme, no NHVR permit is required to access the network. - Non-PBS combinations
Operators with non-PBS approved combinations may still access the network but must obtain a free NHVR permit through the NHVR Go portal.- Typical permit turnaround: within 24 hours

Agriculture Victoria – Biosecurity Permit
In addition to NHVR requirements, operators must hold a biosecurity permit from Agriculture Victoria for the movement of hay.
